Described as a chance to step back in time to experience the true Irish way of life, Aran Island Ferries operates multiple departures daily to each of the islands.
Some 250,000 visitors travel to the Island by one of the six ferries that service the Islands each year, with additional capacity added during the busy summer months.
The three different islands, known collectively as the Aran Islands, each have their own characteristics ranging from its cliffs, nature, archaeological sites, but all share a common bond of peace and tranquillity.
Aran Island Ferries, Managing Director, Sally O'Brien said the Australian and New Zealand markets are a growing segment for the family owned business.
"It is a very important and growing market, which is why this is the eight trade mission we have attended," she said.
With
a wide range of accommodation available on the island to suit all
budgets, the Islands also attract niche markets that are interested in cliff climbing, surfing, diving, fishing etc.
Conveniently, visitors to the island can travel from coast to coast via minibus, bicycles or traditional pony and cart.
