This remote island in
the Arctic Ocean is home to polar bears, arctic fox, arctic hare and a slew of
whale species, among others. Take a cruise aboard an ice ship and explore the
spectacular, iceberg-strewn fjords. Then hike the otherworldly tundra littered
with moss-covered rocks and short, colorful plants. From the ship's deck, keep
an eye out for polar bears lounging on icebergs and Bowhead Whales'which are on
the U.S. endangered animal list' summering in Isabella Bay.
