The Gateway Hotel and Resorts today announced the signing of a new property in The Gateway Hotel Theog, Shimla in one of India's most popular tourist destinations. The 70 room hotel is being developed in association with Messrs Mahamaya Infrastructure Private Limited. The hotel will bring a fresh new dimension to hospitality in the town. With this announcement, The Gateway Hotel and Resorts takes its overall portfolio count to 39 hotels across the country and further cements its presence across major tourist destination in India.

The Gateway Hotel Theog Shimla is slated to be a 70 room hotel. The hotel will be on a site close to the main city of Theog. It will be situated on a hilltop, spread over 5 acres and have panoramic views. The hotel will be equipped with an all day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant , a bar, spa, banqueting, conferencing and meeting facilities that will cater to resident and non resident guest requirements. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, a fitness centre and children's' play area.
