The High Season for Costa Rica Vacations starts on November 15 and goes through April 30 each year, with a second peak from July 1 to the last week of August. During this period hotels run at high occupancy rates, especially those that are small and have established an image and brand.
The months of May and June, and later in the year, in September and October, the rate of international visitors to Costa Rica is lower and many hotels and resorts offer off-season specials.
